• Confidential Settlement in University Defamation Case A college used a former student's photograph distastefully and without permission in marketing materials. As part of the settlement of a lawsuit, the college agreed to stop using the photograph and to destroy remaining copies. Yet a college official later gave the image to students, who used it in a racially offensive poster as a class project. On behalf of the former student, Golomb & Honik attorneys won public apologies and a private settlement.
