Kevin Fay

Kevin FayKevin Fay graduated summa cum laude from the New England School of Law in Boston in 2007. After graduation, he worked as an attorney at one of Boston’s largest and most prestigious corporate law firms, where he represented public and private issuers, underwriters and individual investors in a wide range of transactional work.

Mr. Fay joined Golomb & Honik, P.C., in April 2011, where he represents clients in medical monitoring, toxic tort and consumer class action cases. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Mr. Fay is a current member of the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He lives in Haddon Township, New Jersey, with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Andrew and William.

Tammi Markowitz

Tammi MarkowitzTammi Markowitz is an associate with Golomb & Honik.  Ms. Markowitz has extensive experience handling complex litigation matters, particularly mass torts, product liability, and class action litigation for an array of corporate clients.  Prior to joining Golomb & Honik in 2012, Ms. Markowitz was an associate at Hoyle, Fickler, Herschel & Mathes LLP where she played an integral role in litigating products liability matters, coordinated discovery efforts on behalf of large class action defendants, and briefed significant issues of law at the trial and appellate level. Earlier in her career Ms. Markowitz represented pharmaceutical defendants at one of the country’s largest and most prestigious law firms.

Ms. Markowitz graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law and received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of South Florida.  She sits on the Hearing Committee for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

Ms. Markowitz resides in center city Philadelphia with her husband, David and young son.

Steven D. Resnick

Steven D. ResnickSteven D. Resnick is an associate with Golomb & Honik. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Resnick was an associate at Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP, where his practice concentrated on both class action securities fraud litigation and mass tort litigation.

Previously, Mr. Resnick was an associate at a Philadelphia law firm where he focused on medical malpractice, products liability and premises liability claims. Mr. Resnick has also worked as a senior consultant for a class action claims administration company, where he provided advice and counsel to dozens of class action law firms regarding the resolution of class action cases and settlement administration programs.

Mr. Resnick received his law degree from The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and he earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from West Chester University. During law school, Mr. Resnick received the CALI Award for the highest grade point average in Immigration Law. Mr. Resnick is a member of the American Association for Justice and has served on the Board of Governors of the New Lawyers Division. Recently, Mr. Resnick was honored as a 2010 Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Resnick is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and he has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.

Mark F. Seltzer

Mark F. SeltzerEvery day, Mark F. Seltzer and his legal staff work with physicians and other professionals who are facing the challenge of disability. Mr. Seltzer maintains the strictest confidentiality, as his clients are often physicians dealing with addiction and psychiatric disabilities. Nonetheless, Mr. Seltzer has come to be nationally recognized for his work on disability insurance law.

Mr. Seltzer has achieved outstanding results in hundreds of the most challenging cases. He has lectured at major conferences sponsored by the American Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, International Doctors in Alcoholics Anonymous and the Council on Substance Abuse. He has also spoken on behalf of numerous unions and trial lawyers associations.

Mr. Seltzer’s writing is included in the sixth, seventh and eighth editions of the textbook of the American College of Legal Medicine. Physicians News Digest and other publications have repeatedly featured his articles on many disability insurance law-related topics such as “Protecting Your Disability Insurance Benefits,” “ERISA and Long Term Disability Claims” and “Appropriate Care in Disability Insurance Cases.”

Mr. Seltzer has received certificates of merit and commendations from the U.S. Congress, the New York Senate, the New York State Assembly and other bodies. He is a member of the American College of Legal Medicine and is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Mr. Seltzer earned his undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1972 and his Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law in 1976. In addition, he has earned more than 500 hours of continuing medical education credits.

Clifford D. Swift

Clifford D. SwiftClifford D. Swift is a partner with Mark F. Seltzer and Associates, of counsel to Golomb & Honik. Mr. Swift concentrates his practice on the representation of impaired professionals, with a focus on disability insurance contracts, long-term disability plans, ERISA, employee benefits and bad faith.

For more than eight years, Mr. Swift prosecuted professional licensure matters before the State Boards of Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine as assistant counsel to the Pennsylvania Department of State. In that capacity, Mr. Swift was one of only a handful of attorneys who litigated complex physician misconduct cases, including cases involving standard of care, sexual misconduct, addiction and improper prescribing.

Prior to joining the Department of State, Mr. Swift was the supervisor of the Employee Claims Section at the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. At the Department of Corrections, he was responsible for commuting and litigating disability claims under the Heart & Lung Act and Act 632.

Mr. Swift graduated from Rutgers University in 1988 and the Widener University School of Law in 1992. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the federal District Courts for the Districts of New Jersey, the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
